I fell...

meant to put this up yesterday but... well, yesterday went for the Badminton C girls Match against PLMGS, which is the Zonal champion. the girls put up a good fight but lost through lack of anticipation and stamina. anyway, 3 Year 1s played and i must salute the 3rd singles, she was able to played her bigger opponent point for point with those high lobbings for the 1st set but well, no stamina in second set and lost. but being able to play the bigger opponents is itself an accomplishment. so, don't lose heart. heard from kenny that they are second so shld be able to progress to second round.

but I have made an observation...some of our players walked with their heads hanging down and luan mian mian, as if they have lost...even before the match starts...aiyoh, walk with confidence mah... behave like winners and play like winners. it's very psychological many a times. both mental and physical strength plays an important part.

this morning, I cycled to school and guess what, I fell right on the road in front of the school gate! omg! luckily it was redlight and the cars behind were in a halt. what a close shave! I shld have unclicked my bike shoes from the pedals. still can't comprehend why i fall, kindaf send cold chills down my spine. must be really really alert next time round. omg! 8-P now my right knee kana blue-black.

haha, for the first time since I came to DHS, there is no announcements for the day! wow! 8-)

today, a lot of good news, Volleyball B Girls won their match against a very strong Pasir Ris Sec, 25-21, 25-21. missed that match becos went to support Basketball B girls, they need to win in order to go into next round. In the earlier Bball match, 2 very strong teams played, Bedok View and Chung Cheng main, and CCHMS lost by 3 points. so if our girls win, they will be the fu meng zhu and Bedok View will be out based on point difference. tg, the girls played well, I must say they are very positive and go for every single ball, jamie especially...won the match against Bedok Green by a score of 53-25! but towards the end they were beginning to be abit complacent, some sloppy passes and turnovers... shld remain down to earth, girls! 8-) Coach let a number of the reserves play, good for them to gain some match experience for the 2nd round becos when the going gets tough, and when the team nees to dig deep, the reserves will be crucial... that's what expert Joo Hong says. Badminton B boys also entered the 2nd round. yeeehhh!!!

tomorrow, Basketball B boys will be playing against Tampines Sec, crucial match... they will succeed! Told some of the boys to give it all, because it's either in or out, just put in their best. badminton B girls playing against Dunman Sec at TKGS, but got lessons until 330pm. But I will rush down to see the Volleyball B girls against the super tough Ngee Ann Sec. exciting! I love team sports! 8-) also praying that the Vball C girls put in their best and win their match against Junyuan sec. they need the next 2 wins to be in top 4 for next round. De Ming Jia You Jia You.

actually, some people might "ask", why I am so on or "free", go and support the sports teams? no need to mark, no need to teach meh...sigh! I can only say, i will give all the support I can give to our students, who have trained and put in their heart and soul to bring glory to the school! and supporters are very very important component in competitions, especially when the going gets tough.... so pleeaasssee... give me a break. 8-( anyway, i wen4 xin1 wu2 kui4.

shall run to school tomorrow. good nite

tomorrow there'll be announcements. 8-)
