rushed down to support the A girls Vball match against PJC. we were so close to clinching the 2nd set after a close 1st set. sigh! in the end, it went to the rubber set and we lost. i can feel the pain and disappointment in both the team and ethan and jeffrey.
but to be fair, we have made a no. of unforced errors, and we lost out to a team with better match experience and we didn't hold our nerves at the critical stage. but hey! putting the whole thing into perspective, we have come a long way, from being uncertain whether we could even have a team for the A div girls and even the boys. And now, we have a functional team or teams that play credibly against better opponents, with so many of you not even played competitve vball before.
so, this is a great achievement. you have set in a change. and you will get better. but having the will to win is not enough, really need to have that mental focus when the going gets tough.
anyway, dun lose heart, there is still one match to go and like what i always say, the ball is round, anything can happen, do your best, fight until the last drop of sweat.
anyway, after the match, drove back to sch, felt vexed that i headed out for a 6 km run. came back, met ethan and jeffrey, can see that they were disappointed and ethan wanted to ask me for a run. well, to both of you, if u ever are reading this, dun lose heart ( i am sure u won't).
