after imposing a mandatory rest over the weekend with sleep and makan sessions, decided to resume run and bike today. Just can't get over the fact of staying motionless for long. 劳碌命. 8)
so, today woke up at 5 plus and drove to Selarang Hills (changi prison area) and did 2 5.5 km loop of the slopes. mm.. I aim to target to be able to do 10 loops continuously by Sep. but it was very xiong and complicated by the fact that traffic at the army camp area became heavy bcos the recruits are booking in. I think i must hit the area by 515am and do the loops.
anyway, was dozing off during the workshop today. the workshop is good, just that I haven't had enuff sleep. think I shall sleep at 11pm tonite. so, after the workshop, headed down to ECP to do a 8km tempo run. first half was abt 6min 30sec/km pace. the return leg, i did a negative split with a 5min 15sec/km pace. my left foot arch was having this lingering pain and at one time I almost wanted to stop, but heck, just continued running and heyhey, the pain subsided.
But i think it is not healthy to run thru pain. mmm...
tomolo shld go and do the selarang hills again, this time, 4 loops.
