I run - therefore I am

Trying to get this book by bob schwartz.

anyway, back to Aussie trip. Both mich and I (and guagua I would think so) totally agreed that this is one of the best trip we had. The self-contained apartments were excellent (thanks to Mich with her extensive travelling experience, I know I can count on her, actually I am lazy. LOL).

The long hours of trekking were excellent, minus the irritating flies of summer, the scenery were mouth-gaping, and we discovered that guagua is an excellent trekker. totally amazed by his level of energy and endurance.

Saw more than ten kinds of animals and beautiful summer flowers and fauna. experienced different landscapes; cityscape, island landscape, coastal beaches, forest trails, grand canyon-like rocks, mountain ranges, waterfalls, vineyards. tasted aussie food and wine woohoo...

and I did my runs. yes! Melbourne three times along the yarra river (10 km and 6 km and 7 km), 12 apostles (6.5 km), warrnabool (8 km)... cool and dry weather, there were some undulating slopes, but pace was fast, probably becos of the weather (around 5 min pace).

saw a kangaroo (whole group of them but only managed to snap one) while running along a dirt track from motel to 12 apostles.

and and one more thing, I bought my dream lens - oakley radar pitch with white polished frame and polarised red lens! have been eyeing it for a while and it is much cheaper in Aussie. ya ya, I am a material man. LOL

so, fully satisfied, spiritually, physically, material, family-bonding, visually, olfactory, gustatory.

shall stopped . this self-indulgent ranting.

pics on fb later.

back to reality. back to work, starting tomorrow. 8-(

mmm, i shall go cycling and running tomolo first, with my new lens... yeeeha!
