?!....

"There's only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self." --- Aldous Huxley

I think I have talked about this the other time but I was taken aback by the continuous unfolding of events for the SAA saga.

What I am gonna say here is gonna be abit of nerve rattling, especially when this is a public domain, but 不吐不快。

Mr Loh said, he will consider not to run for the presidency if the other potential challenger Mr Cheah can form a credibile team. My question is, why is Mr Loh setting conditions for others as a prerequisite to whether he shld or shld not run for the headship?!? Acting as a Senior Mentor? want to run and campaign, do it, don't want, then say don't want.

And I really admired Mr Cheah for his decision not to run for the presidency (not to be a s0-called "pawn" in this whole saga)... and what he said is really admirable and incisive... to quote from the straits times, " 'Sports is not meant to be a battlefield, it's supposed to prepare warriors to fight battles to win medals, not fight among yourselves.' and his interview in the press conference, "I think that's what athletics needs. Not more battlefield, more bashing. What it needs is for some new people to come in and take the sports forward and there are a lot of capable people to do that and there's no need to stage another challenge."

In my view, SSC should also stop this public fiery exchange and move the sports forward. what's the point of lashing out at each other in public? is it gonna help the sports?

Both sides shld heed Mr Cheah's wisdom and words.

May the best bring the sports forward. I hope the sense of mission prevails...not bashing and politicking.... pleeaassee... 以大局为重。
