Life is meaningless only if we allow it to be. Each of us has the power to give life meaning, to make our time and our bodies and our words into instruments of love and hope. - Tom Head

This year has been a heavy one. At a personal level, I have to make a few life-changing decisions. At the family front, guagua's entry into the formal school system is life changing. At work, managing perceptions and managing people relationships is draining albeit challenging and enriches my learning.

School is a microcosm of society.

Aside from all these, the passing of many people of great stature has impacted me a lot. It makes me re-evaluate and reflect on the things around and life. Seeing things in fresh perspectives, connect to my inner self, change my tinted lens and see beyond the surface.

Most importantly, discover the positive in people and the things that take place.

Thank you to those who have influenced and impacted my life, so far. whether directly or indirectly.

For these great people, reading about you and your lives have enriched and deepened my conviction to make a positive difference; in myself, to my family, others and the community.

R.I.P. Dr Goh, Dr Balaji and Mrs Lee.

It's only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth -- and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up -- that we will begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it was the only one we had.

- Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

I am reminded of someone who looks at himself at the mirror everyday and tell himself how he will live today if he only has today left. Onward!
