“Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.” | |
There are lessons to be learnt in the whole episode, me included. With all good intentions, but once the wrong approach is adopted, whatever good that is intended will be obliterated. But a lot of positive good has arisen out of this episode, and it has reaffirmed my faith that people are born to be good (人性本善); an ideal that has always guided me in my educational pursuits, or rather which spurred me into the educator arena in the first place. We shall not divide ourselves, but move on, as a family, united. On another side note, this episode has led me on a emotional roller coaster, but well, this morning's bike and run leg has kindaf "rebooted" me, rechannelling that heartache into the pedalling and running energy is quite relieving. I shall work on a 14-day training cycle. 35 km bike with 2 x hill repeats 4 km transition run. I think I am having insomnia. *Just in case anyone is wondering is there anything wrong with my family, I am glad to tell you that my family is great and they are my pillar of strength. The "Family" I refer here is my "second family" because I hold dearly to the school I am teaching in and I regarded this school as my "family" and everyone in this school as a family member, as my elders, my brothers and sisters. Just to clarify. 8-) |
