Part 2 : Managing Change

this is such a clichë title... so many people talked abt it, gurus published books on it. .. so is change necessary? I shall say it from an educator's point of view. I think change is the only constant in the education landscape. we need to equip those under our charge as authentic knowledge & skills as we can. and certain changes have to take place whether people like it or not. becos the impact sometimes is the whole level or even the whole cohort in the country, if it doesn't take place, these students will not benefit from it. but are change for the better? I dun think there is a right or wrong here... only time will tell becos education is a human enterprise and moulding takes time. I guess the best way to manage change is to give time and to factor in buy-in and manage people's perceptions.

this is a very philosophical entry in response to the conversation with my pal...8-)
