Part 1: self-censorship?

this is gonna be a long entry so I am gonna break it up into parts.

Part 1: Self Censorship?
Is blog a private space or a public space? In the light of so many high profile court cases recently, the debate is still going on. Personally (disclaimer: this is my personal opinion and does not represent the views of any organisation per se), as long as public can gain access to what you write, legally and with ease, it is a public domain. I had a long chat with this good friend of mine, she was advising me to do some self-censorship to what i write as people can take me to task based on what I have written. Dear pal, I will heed your advice, in the presence of the virtual audience, I will take this oath:
I shall be more mindful of what I express/written in my blog
I shall refrain from defamatory comments that may hurt the emotions of others
I shall refrain from propagating ideas that may deem dubious or deviant to the norm
I shall be responsible for what I say on the blog
i shall use proper English (as far as I could 8-))
I shall be truthful to what I put on the blog but selective in the opinions I would like to present here.

Pal, I shall put what you say in other perspective, instead of using the term self censorship, I shall be more responsible in what I say or do... since I am an advocate of responsible behaviour so i should lead by example.

Pal, thank you for religiously vetting my blog every morning. please take me to task if I have violated the above oath. To those who have the intent of taking me to task based on what I have written, I have only this to say, as far as my entries go, I felt that I have not hurt anyone emotionally or psychologically. If you really want to take me to task, i have nothing to say.
As for the previous entries, it has already been posted, so i shan't do any editing. 8-) some of the things I have said is my personal belief of what education shld be and i would like to share... it's all in the name of sharing

Sometimes it makes me wonder, why do people read between the lines and find fault on others...is it human's nature? is human by nature good or bad? mmm...

end of part 1
