wasay, the volleyball matches were simply exhilarating. I am a big fan of team sports. I must say our B girls played well today. But St Hilda's are tough opponents, to make up for their loss in players' height, they have great agility. I think this is something that our C girls need.
We missed watching the first set becos of my fault, I was late becos need to settle some stuff. update given on our way to the match venue was 25-22. the score was close gosh! how can we miss this set? the second set was 25-19. The girls got better. well-done. Then we saw the Ngee Ann B Girls, gosh, they are so tall and well-built, it will be another tough match for the girls. Nevertheless, De Ming Jia you jia you.
Stayed on to watch the C girls. Thought they have improved on their play. the scores were more respectable and at one time it was neck to neck. It is very heartening to see them improving each game. this is sports. only competitions can tell who is the better team becos it takes alot of discipline, guts, and teamwork.
I hope they can learn from their mistakes and also from their seniors. Some of them are already beginning to shine, but still very neng (green)... think they shld go for some gym sessions aye? haha
reflecting on myself, I think I talked too much. I was like a commentator at the side. oh, I brought 2 field chairs for the matches, one for Han ge and one for me. haha... yesterday squat until my thighs were aching. I think the students must be so irritated by my sideline comments and dying to ask me to shut up. But really can't help it. well, as always, I will try my upmost best to refrain from commentating.
tomorrow critical match for the Badminton B boys. shall rush down to support them, then Volleyball B girls against Pasir Ris Sec, tough match from my initial sense. jia you jia you
end
