here I am again. wide awake in the middle of morning. yesterday was a hectic day. lessons, then meeting. had wanted to rush down to support the Badminton B Boys crucial match but was a bit late. later got updates from Kenny the captain, they lost the rubber set to Greenview Sec.... the score is 3-2. The team must be ultra sad. How I wish I could have gone down there, at least to give them moral support. well, like what I told him in the sms, as long as the whole team did the best and put up a good fighting spirit... this is sports, this is what competition is all about, it's not just abt skills, there are a whole lot of other factors.
Our badminton B girls won though, 5-0... yeeeh
managed to see the match of our volleyball C girls. Our B girls won comfortably... oh, there was an update on the schedule, b girls against Junyuan nt pasir ris sec. Our poor C Girls, they could have taken the second set, alot of unforced errors through their serve and lack of anticipation. Shi xiong and I were like screaming my heart out. but they have improved again in this match, most of them... a couple of them are too nervous and distracted. probably not used to the rara-ing around the courts or ... distracted by our cheers? or my sideline comments again? 8-P arrghh... if they had taken the second set, they would have half the battle won... mentally...
sense that they felt really bad after the match. my heart is with all of them. I can only say, don't lose heart, hope they pick themselves up and win the remaining 2 matches and they will still stand a chance to be in the top 4 for the Nationals. jia you jia you
reflecting on myself, i think it is too easy for me to make comments abt the matches from the sidelines, I can just talk rite? words don't cost a thing (of course in certain context, words cost a bomb 8-))...it is a completely different ball game when you are actually right smack in the middle of the court. so, I shall tone down and try as far as possible to keep the comments to myself.
I have repaired my bike tyre, yeeehh.. then I also bought 2 road tyres. actually, plan to cycle this morning but I think my mental condition is ---zombie--- so i shall not. The run to sch yesterday was shiok, 14-15 km for 1 hr 10 mins...
met edmund and sam at the cycle shop yesterday. I was glad to see them, all of them taking part in the coming duathlon. yeehh, missed training with them. think next week i will resume training with them.
Next week is a hectic week, a lot of important matches... cheer: De Ming Jia you Jia you
