Results...

O level's out today.. like what Chern Wei said, they have done us proud... created a beautiful legacy in the Dunmanian History. Best results in 10 yrs and the Mean L1R5 has dropped to below 9... 1st time in 10 yrs. congrats to this batch! wish them the very best in whichever JC/Poly or whatever endeavour they are in and do remember to keep the Dunmanian Spirit/flag flying high. Of course, there are those who did not do well and broke down, or too well and shed their tears... the former was worrying, so have to ask a few of the teacher counsellors to help keep a look out. I was like walking up and down the hall. Don't know them at all, just have to ask the teachers to help when spotted some who broke down. but in general, the mood was very enthu.

As it has already been said, those who didn't do as well as expected, don't lose heart, it's just a milestone in your life, and not the end of the world... pick yourselves up and move on.

Yesterday went down to cheer for the Badminton B Girls.. sigh! with the enthu cheering by the BoysNMen (Ming Han and myself). they lost to TKGS. so sad. some of the B boys said that the match line up kindaf wrong, our strongest match their weakest... but even that, we lost... think the girl was injured. anyway, they are through to the nationals... congrats! but one observation I made, some of our sportsmen/sportswomen don't seem to have the strong desire to win, and the killer's instinct. some of them, even before they start their match, already say things like, "very difficult to win..."bla bla bla... I was like, hello! got hold of yourself, go down there and fight for every point... bcos once you start thinking that you'll lose, half the battle is already lost.

But I must say the killer instinct can be detected in the Basketball B boys when they played on Wed. even though they were like dying of fatigue (reserves, please work harder), they managed to hold on and win the match. that's what Cheng2 Xin4 Yong3 Zhong1's Yong3 is abt... courage to face adverse situation and turn it around. hope can see more of that in our sports teams or any other teams going for competitions.

Lou Hei yesterday evening with SAFRA Running club. more than 40 turned up. very fun. the buffet at sakura restaurant at tampines SAFRA got quite a good spread. I was like whacking the salmon sashimi non-stop. 8-P actually no lah, 2 full plates. I missed training with them... shall do it next Tue. Hopefully, they'll organise the Phuket Marathon in June. I wanna gooooooo...

just got news, our Badminton C girls won their match today 4:1, table tennis B Boys won 3:2 but the girls lost 1:4. anyway, well done and those who lost, be the best that you can be and fight for every point... have that killer instinct!

update on my run - thur did a run from Simei.. then half way look at the watch, thinking that I may be late for sch... decided to take a bus to St pat's and run from there... think I wasted 10 mins waiting for the bus. so have to chiong all the way from St Pat's to school. distance covered: 10 km, time abt 50 mins. slow! 8-(

left my bike in sch, I am contemplating to run there tomorrow morning and just cycle back so that I can change my tyres... let's pray the weather will be good.

I think I cracked my voicebox after all those cheering, now talking like toad. 8-( .. well, what the heck!
