I am back... haha

haha, I am back. to my pal who has religiously login to my blog. apologies apologies. real busy these few days.

can't remember what happen on Sat. oh, ya, went back sch to do some work and then cycled back becos left my bike in sch. anyway, sunday, friends came by and had lou hei and at night yuan xiao had steamboat at parents place. This new year was super bloated. eat and eat. tg, i still run and cycle, if not, i would have put on weight.

Monday, bcos of my bloatedness, cycled to sch... now I abit daring, cycled along changi airport perimeter fence and go by NSRCC, ECP to sch. very careful this time, displodged cycling shoes from the pedal before I hit tanjong rhu. don't wanna fall right smack in the middle of the road, in front of sch gate again. afternoon, after meeting, rushed down to watch Volleyball C girls match against Pasi Ris sec at their home ground. If they win, they would be into the nationals. When i reached there, the girls already lost 1st set 25-19. 2nd set was very close, and our girls even led 24-21, but alamak, they just couldn't get the game point and worse still, the kayou referee judged an out ball served by Pasir Ris sec to be in. this was a terrible terrible call. the girls lost the focus and the match. it was a terrible call. however, looking back, our girls also did not take hold of the opportunity to clinch the set. committed a no. of not-so-good mistakes. sigh! they need to build on their foundation and train themselves mentally to stay focused even when opponent's supporters are ra ra-ing around them. heard that they were blaming the referee, the school for not going down to support them (hey, 2 HODs - me and PE HOD-went down and a couple of students - think it was hannah- went down leh, others got afternoon lessons) bla bla bla... anyway, no point saying anymore, just hope that they get out of this, reflect on what went wrong, train harder, work on their basics and emerge a stronger team next yr.

yesterday's V day. bought flowers for all my classes... of course, one per class lah, and made a small card. I enjoyed teaching my classes.. find them adorable...8-) .. although I am only teaching the year 1s next term, as they are having chinese painting classes now. dun know leh, after teaching for close to 10 yrs, having seen students of different shapes and sizes, i kindaf enjoy teaching DHS students. .. even though I only taught them barely 3 months. somehow there is this chemistry... mm.. very chim...

oh, then went down to support the badminton B boys against Victoria Sch in their home ground. the match was exciting. I must say the B boys really demonstrate the kindaf fighting/ never-say-die spirit that I have yearned for every dunmanian to have. they fought for every point, even when the odds are against them and they emerged winners of the game 5-0. anyway, heard from VS P that a number of their key players not feeling well.

today's match badminton B boys against another strong team Tampines Sec was laggi nail-biting. 1-1, 2-1, 3-1 when it comes to the last singles, our captain Kenny against their captain, it was the ultimate climax. the TPS captain was this tall 1.9 lanky guy and whenever he wins the serve or a point he would go right to the net and punched his fist, yelled and stared at kenny (like wanna fight). ... it was so intimidating. But kenny kept his cool, lost the 1st set, came back strong and win the 2nd set. the 3rd rubber set was ultimate. point for point the rally goes on. the cheers (or rather the shrieks) from our girls was deafening. but kenny made some critical mistakes and lost the set 15-13. arrggghh... so close .. but he played very well. and that is what I hope all dunmanians could have, the Badminton B boys really demonstrate this cool, collectedness, staying focused and never-say-die spirit. well done Badminton B boys. wonderful match... still keeping my adrenaline pumping.... arrgghh... the rubber set... arrghh....

our Badminton B girls also won manjusri sec 5-0. our Table tennis B boys won 5-0 but our b and c girls lost to PLMGS at their homeground 1-4, 1-4. shall go down and give them some support in their next match.

oh, just to clock my run, today, run to sch, 14 km 1hr 9 min. not bad... 8-)

my wife now into this japanese game called sudoku... it's a strategy game where you are supposed to place nos. in strategic locations in a grid like structure. after looking at it, my conclusion is i am an illogical person. dun think i can ever solve one of these. actually i have no patience also.. haha

ciao
