this holiday (or shall i say pseudo holiday) zipped past like lightning speed. travelling was put on hold (actually i did have travelling plans, i.e. travelling to mt sinai to and fro... haha...lame...) because of the school's shift to mt sinai, lots of planning for next year, meetings, and sitting on the couch switching channels almost every night, playing with boy boy. but hey, come to think of it, i did complete my 6th full marathon. the last couple of weeks have been buzzing with work. sleeping like wee-hours of the day and waking up zommed and go to the west (Mt sinai).
Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed the year. it is exciting, coming into a new school, working with a bunch of new and friendly colleagues in a big family like setting (though I am gonna miss some of them who have left us esp gao lao Fong Yeow Wah and my life-long friend JH in 2007... ) working and learning with the wonderful bunch of dunmanians... think dunmanians are adorable... haha...
I am definitely looking forward to next year for:
family
boy boy going to a new sch, taking school bus at the age of 3 (ooo... )
going on hols with wife and boy boy to Japan (nippon... yeh)
spending more time with parents and sis and bro in law
personal
more running
running to school every morning and around the west in the evening (just to be more specific 8-)
better timing for local full marathon
one overseas marathon
pick up guitar (instead of plucking on my own)
go back to rock climbing
do some paintings to deco our place
go on a refresher driving course after 10 years of non-driving (this is is tough though..8-P)
working in the holding campus in Mt sinai, so spacious with weird pockets of space and greenries and tranquil with the occasional sounds of passing train
seeing Dunmanians happily buzzing around
working with the big dunmanian family, which is growing bigger and stronger each year
rolling out programmes for the students
etc....
...last but not least, taking on the role of DM in the school (hey hey..)
happy new year everyone!
