Acapella and Rock Band

This week was quite enjoyable so far

Besides sharing my vision of what we shld work towards to as a school, the JH side was exposed to two different genres of Performing Arts, Year 1 and 2 was Acapella (singing without music but with human beatbox), brought to us by the SAF MDC chaps. It was thoroughly enjoyable and the Year 1s and 2s and even some SH peeps were mesmerised by their singing. The performers were also pleasantly surprised by the encores and sizzling hot reception from the gals... LOL

the Rock Band for Year 3 and 4 was...mmm... shld I say, good attempt. But for those reading my blog, plse dun blame Miss Lin, she actually saw their ad, went down to see their performance and even listened to their records... but somehow... I was suggesting to her that we can give some platforms for some of our jammers from SH side. but most of them are year 6s and they are focusing on their As. so have to scout around. Maybe should ask Xinqi and the music comm who is trying to organise some lunchtime concert thingy.

I am enjoying my lessons with the Year 1s though. they are spontaneous and loveable, cheeky some times, but the quality of their responses and thinking is there.

training:
Mon - 7km run at ECP b4 sch, 4km quick tempo run ave 12.5 km/h on treadmill
Tue - 21 km cycle at ECP, ave 33km/h
Wed - target 20 km cycle at ECP and 10 km run

good nitez.
