“Our lives at times seem a study in contrast... love & hate, birth & death, right & wrong... everything seen in absolutes of black & white. Too often we are not aware that it is the shades of grey that add depth & meaning to the starkness of those extremes.”
Ansel Adams quotes (American Photographer, 1902-1984)
Many things happened this week. too tired to elaborate.
many comments from colleagues
things are not in black and white
direction is not clear
don't know what to do
but must things be always in black and white?
yes, it provides security
it does provide clarity
but
in dealing with humans
in interaction with humans
which our profession is about
and in life, by and large
things are not always so clear cut
many a times, in shades of grey
we are sometimes so obsessed with being so clear and precise
that we lost the vision
the one and only thing that we hope to see
and spending too much time
indulging ourselves
in details that really didn't matter
sigh.. I am tired
I need a break and tgif
