Up and coming races

was running around like bee yesterday (sun), ,did spring cleaning, trying to help dad set up his new PC. thanks to Mich, she is the gadget person.

anyway, upcoming races,
Sheares bridge Army half-marathon 24 Aug (21km) ,
Nike Run 31 Aug (10 km)

nowadays, a lot of races, sports becoming like business, and honestly, some r expensive but poorly organised.

i wonder why races like AHM kept increasing the prices, manpower (army) no need money, drinks (sponsored by GIC), no need money, road closure (LTA, Nat parks Govt or stat boards) no need money, then why so ex? betta hv good goodie bags.

at least for Nike run, i can choose the charity I would like to $$ to go to. AHM, $$ go to where?

maybe i am becoming more and more selective.

oh oh, stand chart marathon registration starts today!

oh, yesterday spoke to a few of the runners for the inter-const run, trying to entice them for the gobi desert run next june (25o km over 7 days) and I am planning to do it for a charity which dun get much govt support. any runners reading this who are interested can contact me?
