What do u want in life? Run for a cause

these few lectures on Personal Mastery by Dr Low has been a quest for meaning in life. it probes us to ask fundamental questions, relating to our very existence. What do you want in life?
Do you know?
Are you drifting around becos you don't know?
Who are you?
Why are you here?
Where are you going?
Why are you going there?

Ask tough why questions.

I have been asking these questions, or rather some of these, very retrospective nowadays, as mentioned in my earlier blog entry.

I think I can summarise what I want in life using our sch motto (not trying to be politically correct, LOL) "To care, To Serve, To Lead". To care for my loved ones and others, to serve those in need, to lead my own life and exert a positive influence on others, live and leave a legacy, make a difference.

I have always wanted to contribute back to society thru sports. Running, my fav, by and large is a self-indulgent sport, of course it can be social at times. Correct me if I am wrong, but by and large, it is individual challenge-PB lah, breaking records, going for distance. So, lately, having been doing distance run for more than 10 yrs, I would like to move up one notch, that's run for a cause.

So, one big round, this yr's Stand Chart Marathon (my 10th marathon), I decided to run for a cause, run for charity. I will be putting up a note here, so keep a look out! and I definitely need your support, both moral and financial.
