little pleasures in life

We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today. ~Stacia Tauscher

Hard to get the momentum for work going but hey, momentum for my own reading was good. LOL

had a great but tiring day yesterday with three adult frens and 7 kids. we were more like safety officers. but great to see them enjoying themselves at the WWW. then, adjourned to friend's place and we had a good chat while the 4 boys were busy entertaining themselves; trying to hack open a old coconut, running around the house in circles, drawing and having some intense discussions.

Dinner and a few drinks while the tired boys had their own candle light dinner at the garden. I think they are more intrigued by the candles and fire than the food. I was commenting that out of the 5 elements, Fire and Water are the ones that captivated children.

I am gonna miss these times with the kids. it is great to see how they find simple things and pleasures in life while adults tend to take for granted or ignored or forget to appreciate.

Great to have friends around and chit-chat.

Anyway, i need to pack up the house, it is getting very very messy.

Hopefully weather will be better later and we can go cycling with the kids again.

oh, the world cup fever has kindaf fizzle off me now. overdose of WC?!?... if you give me a choice between watching WC and having a good chat with frens and family, i will choose the latter. haha.

but then, go Korea go and go underdogs go!

wee pi dee...
