microcosm

Sports is microcosm of life.

indeed. today, i was pedalling like mad for the 40 km and i almost wanna gave up, it is like the quads and the itbs and the calf muscles are all crying out for help. worse, my left shoulder and neck is aching from the aerobar posture. but still manage to power back to F2 carpark.

Again during the run, i was on the verge of stopping, somehow, manage to do the 5 km run in relatively good time.

So back to this microcosm of life. ups and downs, lows and highs. at the moment, i must say, i am in this plateau stage of my work life. Nothing seems to excite me abt work. am I burnt out? there has been so much talk abt teachers' workload and recently a friend just belt out her frustrations on her fb status. (though I thought this is pretty sensitive to do in a social networking platform). Anyway, not that I dun like what I am doing now as a teacher. Somehow, there are things that zapped the energy out of me. Now is mid-Jun, two weeks left of break and I have not even started working.

I am actually enjoying what I am doing now, spending time with guagua and his two buddies and ferrying them to and fro lessons, get them to do their holiday homework etc.

I used to look forward to weekends. now, i hope the days will slow down so that weekends don't come so quickly.

Well, savour what i have now.

blurrgghh... i shall go to bed.
